Ted Raimi has a new web series out called Deathly Spirits. Inspired by 50s radio dramas and Ted’s love for cocktails, each episode will feature a frightening ghost story as well as how to make classic mixed drinks. The first episode The Old House and the Old Fashion premieres today.

Shannon Shea, creature creator has released a new book, I’m Rubber, You’re Glue: The True Story of an 80s Monster Maker, chronicling his experiences doing special effects work in the film industry. Among classics like Jurassic Park and Predator, Shannon was also one of the main crew members on Evil Dead 2 which is covered as well in his book. His book is only available as an e-book which can be bought here.

We just got word from WTFLOL, the creators of the live action Marvel Zombies vs Army of Darkness fan film, that they are gearing for up the sequel Ash vs the DC Dead. Filming begins in the May with a release in July. We’ll keep you posted!
