Hi there.

I'm back.

Again.

Maybe again again - I honestly don't remember.

Originally joined back in... what... the late 90s and early 00's? Then disappeared for a while, came back a few times around '07 or '08, then ran away again. But now Ash is back, and so am I, baby!

Probably.

For a while, at least.

...we'll see.

I used to post here a lot a few years ago, but I haven't been here for at least 8 years, I think. I don't even remember what my username used to be back then (maybe "Deadite in your Cellar" or something like that... I'm not sure). I felt I needed a place to talk about Ash vs. Evil Dead so I decided to register again. It's nice to see that this place is still brimming with activity and that people like Names_Ash_Housewares, Nick El Ass, eVIL DeAdiTe, Swofty and now KingRob are still here. I remember all of you and a lot of the discussions we had, all the fan films in the filmmaking forums (I'm an actual filmmaker now) and how much of a cool place this used to be. I even had a couple of my drawings featured on the old fan art section of the site. I also remember this other brazilian member (I'm brazilian, by the way), called Daniel I think, who was the one who discovered the origins of the ending credits music from the first film and provided everyone here with an MP3 of the full unfiltered version of it. I think he was also the one responsible for the graphics on the previous design for the site's main page. It was great back then, because information on the films wasn't so readily available as it is now and there was a real sense of community here. Good times! I'm glad to be back.

Ahoy folks! :)

I am Muzzlehatch from Germany, long time lurker, now a active user...and of course a big ED-fan!
Not in the sense, that I have a DVD shrine in my living room or a tattoo of BC on my chest, but I just find the story of a couple of friends from Michigan, who start at a young age to make their own movie in the woods, so god damn inspiring. I could spend hours reading all theses anecdotes about the making of the trilogy in Bruce's autobiography, watching behind the scenes footage or the movies with audio-commentaries. It really gives you a kick for your own creative projects.

But to be honest, I am quite "new" to the whole gig. I discovered AoD maybe 13 years ago. But since then I waited (most of the time hopeless) for the return of the king. Films like Bubba Ho-Tep and Drag me to Hell helped waiting. Films like My Name is Bruce were more disappointing. But now we finally we got the real deal again. I just hope it will hold up to the expections and last longer than one season.

Welcome back to King Rob and Gut0nez. It is always cool to see old faces that have been around over the years since I joined way back in 2003. Deadites is alive and well despite being swallowed by demons a time, or two... and really was one of the first sites I ever found after seeing the old BCOnline that Bruce had up. Those were the good old days, and I don't even think Myspace was around at the time. Times has changed, but despite a different look Deadites is still one of the coolest places on the internet(s). I'm not just saying that for the hell of it because it is true.

/Now if Prophet shows back up it would be really crazy.

Thanks Nick! Definitely remember you and a couple others that are still around. It'd be fun to see more of the old crew return.

Daniel was ace ... he did indeed once help Kain with the art design for this site but he can't take the credit for finding the name of the cellar tune, that was someone called squid kid in a thread I started called something like cellar tune - one last dance .. Daniel speeded up the process after that though and provided the first watchable (almost) video of Within The Woods, I used to love his artwork .. He was also a big fan of Ellen Sandweiss but was behind the scenes accused of stalking her via telephone until all that rubbish was cleared up .. Daniel was completely innocent of course but he doesn't post here anymore unfortunately .. he also partly helped Tom Sullivan alongside Kain to build Tom's personal website .. Good times indeed !  ....... and Hi again King Rob .. it feels like the last ten years didn't even happen doesn't it?. ..

Yeah, now that you mention it, I remember the collective search for the cellar tune that happened before someone found it. I only had Daniel's name in my head because I remember he was the one who provided the MP3 file for it. I actually still have that exact same file on my computer (well, a copy of it, of course). I also remember that first attempt at "remastering" Within the Woods. Back then it was hard to even find someone who had seen it. Now you can watch it on YouTube. I don't exactly remember all that stuff with Ellen Sandweiss, but it does sound oddly familiar for some reason. Maybe it happened after I had already stopped posting? I'm not sure.

Coming back to these forums got me all nostalgic, so I went into the Wayback Machine to take a look at the site back then. You can see all the changes on the site and the forums over the years, and I remember every single one of them. I know now that I first joined the forums in 2001, but I still haven't been able to figure out exactly when I left and I couldn't find out what my damn username used to be.

Hi! Newbie here! I actually only got into Evil Dead probably about six months ago. Until that point I had never even heard about the movies before, which is a shame! How did I spend my whole life not knowing about Ash!!! I was two when Army Of Darkness came out so that might play some role in it. But I was looking for an awesome community to discuss Ash Vs Evil Dead and this seems like a wonderful forum! :D

Hey what's up all you Primitive screwheads? Happy to have finally found an Ash Vs Evil Dead forum. I used to watch The Walking Dead before Stars started airing the far superior Ash Vs Evil Dead, this shows way more fun. Anyway, glad to be the new "newb" on the Deadites Online forum. :D

Hey, The Walking Dead is still a damn good show... and EP and occasional director Greg Nicotero was part of the Evil Dead world first.

I guess its still okay, I've been following TWD for 6 years now. Ash vs Evil is a nice change, its nice to be able to laugh for an entire half hour.
