When I first heard about this film and all it's Accademy Awards I pre-judged it as the type of pretentious art house crap I normaly avoid .. I was wrong. The story is simple enough for children to enjoy and sophisticated enough to resonate with adults, the CGI work is incredible and probably has James Cameron, WETA etc wondering what the hell just happened. On top of that, the ending respects its audience and allows you to choose which film you think you've just watched. It gets a little too cutesy in a couple of places but all in all a timeless story and a new favourite of mine.
